Sep/ 3, 2007 (China Knowledge) ¨C The seventh China Green Food Expo closed on Sep.1, 2007 with total business deals worth of over RMB 9 billion, up 32.8% compared with that of last year. More than 5,000 traders joined this expo and around 100,000 people visited.
The subject of the expo is "Green, Health, Cooperation and Development". The total exhibit area is larger than 4,000 sq m with 520 exhibit zones. All the exhibited products are divided into 13 categories and more than 2958 products were shown. During the exhibit various promotion activities are carried out, such as green food exhibit and trade, agriculture technology expositions, commercial meetings, modern agriculture machinery exhibit, etc.
The newly-added modern agriculture machinery exhibit appealed 146 manufacturers to exposit their 400 sorts of machines. Modern agriculture technology exposition drew greatest attention. Nine foreign traders and twenty-five Chinese companies showed their innovative agricultural products. 
The Green Food Expo was jointly held by China Agriculture Ministry and Heilongjiang government. Since the first opening in 2007, it was already successfully held for seven years. Total trade value has exceeded RMB 76 billion.
